Student / Parent Information 2012 - 2013
HOURS OF OPERATION -
- Student day – 7:45 am to 2:20 pm – Late Bell is 7:50 am
- Student Supervision begins at 7:30 am. Please do not drop your student off before 7:30 am
- Main Office – 7:00 am to 4:00 pm
- Teacher Day – 7:30 am to 2:30 pm
- The Building will close each day at 4:45 pm
- Pick Up/Drop Off in front parking lot only!
- There is no parking on Memorial Drive!
School Schedule: Periodically our students school schedule will change and you can find that information here. Click here to download your students rotating school schedule.
Student Messages: We ask that parents not telephone in messages for students unless it is an emergency. Students will be notified immediately in an emergency situation.
Student Drop Off/ Pick Up: Parents please remember to drive slowly and carefully when entering Memorial Drive and driving through the parking lots. In accordance with the student handbook, all students must be dropped off in the main parking lot and enter the building by the main office.
Attendance/Dismissal: Please help us ensure that your student is on time for school. Students who cannot make it to their homeroom by 7:55 am are considered tardy and need a note from home. When you need to dismiss your child before the end of the school day, please send them in with a note. By doing this classes will not be disturbed to call your student to the office. Unless it is an emergency, classes will not be disrupted for student dismissal between 1:45 and 2:17pm.
Visiting School: We ask all parents to please report to the main office when entering the school. If you need to visit a teacher before or after school, be sure to check in. This is very important for building security reasons. Thank you for your cooperation.
No School Announcements/Delayed Opening: In case of inclement weather, school cancellations or delays can be found on WMUR TV, Channel 9 or WSMN Radio 1590, or call the school at 886-1240 and press 7 after 7:00 am.
Computer Lab: The Computer Lab in Room 222 is open to all students every Tuesday and Thursday from 2:20 until 3:15 pm. Students may utilize the lab for research purposes or class projects. Students will be able to take the late bus home.
Internet Safety: Parents are encouraged to review a website, MySpace.com, a popular online social networking website frequented by youth. Children listing personal information on the internet are at risk to internet predators. Please review internet safety with your child. Suggested websites for information: www.msnbc.msn.com/id/11064451/, www.WiredSafety.org and www.missingkids.com.
