Fall 2013 Sports
Sports and clubs are offered throughout the school year. Fall interscholastic sports are Boys and Girls Soccer, Girls Volleyball and Boys/Girls X-Country. .
All students trying out for fall interscholastic sports must have a physical form on file in the nurse's office prior to tryouts.
**ALL PAPERWORK IS DUE NO LATER THAN AUG 21ST**
Tryouts Schedule (Subject to Change)
Ø Boys Soccer Aug 27, 28, 29 (approximately 18 roster spaces)
Ø Girls Soccer Aug 27, 28, 29 (approximately 18 roster spaces)
Ø Girls Volleyball Aug 27,28,29 (approximately 10-14 roster spaces)
X-Country will begin by having a sign-up meeting on September 4th. X-Country participants must have their permission/physical forms turned into the Athletic Department by Wednesday August 28th. Students participating in X-Country will be able to take the late bus home on TUESDAY, WEDNESDAY, THURSDAY ONLY!!!.
Intramurals are offered throughout the school year. A physical is not required to participate in intramurals, however a specific parent permission form is necessary. In 2013-2014 school year, HMS will offer the following intramural programs: Dodgeball/ Basketball hybrid in the Fall, and Volleyball in the spring
Students must listen to daily announcements for the formation of sports teams. It is their responsibility to pick up needed forms and applications and to return them on the proper date. Announcements for sports and clubs run daily at the beginning and close of school at least a week prior to their beginning.
