Fall 2012 Sports
Letter of introduction from our new Athletic Director, John Ficera
Sports and clubs are offered throughout the school year. Fall interscholastic sports are Boys and Girls Soccer and X-Country. All students trying out for fall interscholastic sports must have a physical form on file in the nurse's office prior to tryouts. Intramural sports are Flag Football and Volleyball. Intramurals require no tryouts and are open to all students.
Boys and Girls Soccer tryouts for the 2012 season will begin on Monday, August 27th and go through Wednesday, August 29, from 2:00 to 4:00 pm. Boys and Girls Soccer permission/physical forms must be turned into the Athletic Department by Wednesday, August 22nd.
The X-Country team will begin their practices Tuesday September 3rd from 2:15 to 3:15 p.m. X-Country participants must have their permission/physical forms turned into the Athletic Department by Wednesday, August 29th. Students participating in X-Country will be able to take the late bus home.All students trying out for Boys or Girls Soccer and the X-Country team must have a physical form on file in the nurse's office prior to tryouts. Students may return their completed forms along with the physical forms to Mr. John Fichera, Athletic Director, before the end of the school year or their respective coaches on the first day of tryouts. Students must listen to daily announcements for the formation of sports teams. It is their responsibility to pick up needed forms and to return them on the proper date. Announcements for Interscholastic and Intramural sports teams run daily at the beginning and close of school at least a week prior to their beginning.
