REPORT CARDS

Report cards are distributed four times a year.  The report card envelope must be signed by the parent or guardian and returned to the homeroom teacher as soon as possible.

Grading Scale for the academic subjects (including 8th grade full-year Foreign Language):

A+   100-98                                          C+    79-77

A     97-93                                             C      76-73

A-    92-90                                             C-     72-70

B+   89-87                                             D+    69-67

B     86-83                                             D      66-63

B-    82-80                                             D-     62-60

F      59 and below

Fine Arts (Art, Music, Tech. Ed., Family, Consumer Science and Computer Education and 6th and 7th grade half-year Foreign Language) may choose the grading scale below as an alternative to the letter grade.

O – Outstanding                                  NI –  Needs Improvement

S –  Satisfactory                                   F –    Fail

High Honor Roll – All A’s in the four academic subjects including any A- and must pass all Fine Arts classes.

Honor Roll – All A’s and B’s in the four academic subjects including any B- and must pass all Fine Arts classes.

Comment codes are used to describe work habits and classroom behaviors.  All codes are listed on the back of progress reports and report cards
