A note from our Resource Officer
Dear Parents,
This letter is to gently remind you of the drop off procedures for your students in the mornings. The morning traffic pattern has become slightly congested so hopefully this will clarify any issues. The front main parking lot has two travel lanes divided by a dotted line on the pavement. The lane on the right, closest to the school, is the designated STUDENT DROP OFF lane. The lane on the left is for those who wish to pull through and bypass student drop off. For those who utilize the bypass lane, please proceed with caution and watch closely for students exiting from the left side of vehicles in the student drop off lane. We are asking that when you come in to drop off your student you pull as far ahead as possible, (adjacent to the last parking space before exiting the parking lot) then let your student out. If you are in a line of cars please pull up behind the car ahead of you. We are trying to get more cars into the drop off area to avoid the traffic backup onto Central Street. You will see new signage in the parking lot soon to help with the flow of traffic, please follow them. If all of the parents work to maintain this drop off procedure it will expedite student drop off by allowing more cars in the front lot to do the same. Please DO NOT drop off students in the driveway before entering the main parking lot. This only causes more back ups.
