HMS Teachers win Awards
Mr. Pooler and Mrs. Freemantle with their AwardsOn Monday, March 25, 2019 Mr. Daniel Pooler and Mrs. Leonie Freemantle were honored by the New Hampshire Teachers of Mathematics for their excellence in teaching.

Mr. Pooler was presented with the Richard C. Evans Distinguished Mathematics Educator Award.  This award is presented to a veteran mathematics teacher who is dedicated to briinging creativity and innovation into the teaching of mathematics for all students.

Mrs. Freemantle was presented with the Fernand J. Prevost Mathematics Teaching Award.  This award is presented to a teacher who has been teaching for five years or less whose teaching indicates they will have a positive impact on bettering mathematics instruction for all students.

It is rare that these awards are presented to two teachers in the same district or same building.  We are very proud that the dedication of these two educators was noticed by the New Hampshire Teachers of Mathematics
